FAMILY THERAPY

$200 (60 minutes)

Family therapy is designed to address specific issues that affect the psychological health of the family, such as major life transitions or mental health conditions. It may be used as the primary mode of treatment or as a complementary approach.

Families can benefit from therapy when they experience any stressful event that may strain family relationships, such as financial hardship, divorce, or the death of a loved one. In addition, it can be effective in treating mental health concerns that impact the family as a whole, such as depression, substance abuse, chronic illness, and food issues, or everyday concerns, like communication problems, interpersonal conflict, or behavioral problems in children and adolescents.

Family counseling aims to promote understanding and collaboration among family members in order to solve the problems of one or more individuals.

COUPLES THERAPY/ RELATIONSHIP COACHING

$175 (50 minutes)

Couples therapy can help partners gain insight into their relationship, resolve conflict and improve relationship satisfaction. Couples therapy can help the couple resolve a current problem, prevent an exacerbation of problems or simply provide a “check-up” for a happy couple that is experiencing a period of transition or increased stress. Common areas of concern addressed in couples therapy include issues with money, parenting, sex, infidelity, in-laws, chronic health issues, infertility, gambling, substance use, emotional distance and frequent conflict.

PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS FOR IMMIGRATION

$1200+ (depending on nature of evaluation and number of clients)

An Immigration Psychological Evaluation is psychological assessment that is used to help immigration courts determine whether an individual will be able to remain lawfully in the United States. A psychological evaluation adds a tremendous value to the immigration case. A comprehensive, expert evaluation can be effectively used by your attorney to support your case and move forward with your immigration proceedings.
The immigration evaluation itself includes in-depth interviews that occur over the course of 2 to 3 meetings, consultations with attorney, speaking with other people relevant to the case, psychological evaluation, scoring and interpreting results, and report writing.

PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS FOR BARIATRIC SURGERY

$550

Psychological evaluations have become a standard part of the screening of candidates for bariatric surgery in order to determine patients' appropriateness for surgery.
The information discussed during the clinical interview is critical not only for assessing patients’ appropriateness for surgery but also for improving outcomes and success during the post-surgery adjustment.
The psychological assessment involves two parts: a clinical interview that focuses on behavior, psychiatric symptoms, and understanding of the surgery, and psychological testingto objectively assess their presentation style, psychological adjustment, and readiness for surgery.
